| Event Description
| The 12th World Environmental Education Congress (12th WEEC), a biennial international meeting which brings together Academia, NGOs, International Institutions, Public Bodies, Environmental Educators, and practitioners, will be hosted in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from January 29 to February 02, 2024 under the slogan of "connecting people, creating tomorrow." The Congress brings together the universities, associations, and public institutions for a more sustainable world, knowledge and education, and for the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030. The Congress will be a prominent planetary meeting to discuss environmental education, to enforce the debate regarding the future of environmental education, sustainability, and climate change to enhance international dialogue towards sustainability for a growing global engagement in facing the challenges of our time.
